Many Tiger Rock martial artists train at our academy to pick up on self-defense techniques. Self-defense training is an integral part of the Tiger-Rock System.
We teach real-world self-defense skills that including evading and countering attacks. Moreover, we help younger students with self-defense by teaching important lessons in stranger awareness.

Bullying can be a traumatic experience for young children. It can lead to lifelong emotional, social, and possibly even physical scars. That’s why Tiger Rock Martial Arts takes bullying seriously and we employ a substantial amount of our kids martial arts lessons towards anti-bullying.
We teach important life, martial arts, and self-defense skills to help children protect themselves from bullies. Tiger Rock instructors also stress the importance of getting adults involved to stop the bullying. Our lessons touch on protecting against in-school bullying, neighborhood bullying, and cyberbullying.
